Stephen Clayton first began DJing when he was 15 years old and immediately fell in love with it. It didn’t take long for Stephen to take things to the next level, managing to pass himself off as being 18 so that he could get into the club for his first professional DJ gig.

From that point onwards, Stephen’s DJ career went from strength to strength and found him playing under the pseudonym of Steve-o and entertaining crowds in various clubs and festivals around the UK.

Steve-o enjoys mixing all types of music and is a firm believer that you have to appreciate all sorts of music to appreciate any type of music.

Over the years, Stephen Clayton has been fortunate enough to get behind the decks with musical pioneers, including DJ Jazzy Jeff and fat boy slim – two artists who have formed a big part of Stephen’s music inspiration.

Stephen has a unique hardware setup that includes the latest mixing equipment as well as his trusty Vestax turntables, which Stephen says never let him down.

Stephen Clayton currently has a resident DJ slot on LDP Radio, where you can find him every Monday evening from 6PM – 8PM playing the best drum & Bass tunes as part of LDP Radio’s “Into The Jungle” DnB show.
