Jamie Dee

DJ Jamie Dee

Jamie Dee started DJing in 1988 at small venues, pubs, clubs and wine bars around Croydon. In 1993 Jamie secured a permanent residency with the underground radio station Dream FM, where he played under the alias DJ Doc-E. During his time with Dream FM, Jamie Dee played at many venues, including Labyrinth, The Rocket, Lindford Film Studios, Bagleys and Adrenaline Village. In 1997 Jamie moved on from Dream FM in favour of a chance to DJ at the legendary London nightclub Ministry Of Sound. Jamie Dee played in the Back Room and on in the Terrace Bar for several years until 1999, when he travelled to the Greek island of Kavos to DJ. Jamie Dee stayed on the party island for two seasons before returning home to DJ in local clubs, bars and private functions. In 2006 Jamie decided to hang up his headphones and take what was at the time an indefinite break from the DJ scene.

Fast forward to 2012, and Jamie Dee made what he said was “the best decision of his life” picking his headphones back up to rediscover his passion for DJing. Since then, Jamie has played on several pirate radio stations, at numerous events, and several boat party’s in and around the UK.
As well as being an active DJ and independent events host, Jamie has now taken up a resident DJ slot on LDP Radio, where he plays a regular slot every Saturday, aptly named “Saturday Sessions“.
