James Loftus began his career at the age of 17, assisting local tattooist Tiger Sid, who sadly has since passed away. It was Tiger Sid who introduced James to the world of DJing. At 21, he was awarded a Princess Youth Business Grant, allowing him to invest in state-of-the-art disco lighting and DJ equipment.
He held a residency at The Queens Head in Worksop before going on to perform at various bars and nightclubs in the area. As his career progressed, he joined Luminar Leisure, working across multiple nightclubs in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Sheffield. He later transitioned to the Chicago Rock Café circuit, performing at venues across the country, from Southend-on-Sea to Bolton, with a focus on music from 1986 onwards.
James will primarily be playing full vinyl sets featuring music from the 1990s. With a deep passion for vinyl, listeners can expect the occasional authentic crackle and jump.
